Packaging:

This is how the product looks like, well, the front part:

Back part containing all the info which I've already listed under additional info. So, no need to strain your eyes to read it here. Just scroll up and read it there. :)

Just wanted to show you guys the cap/opening of the lotion.

As you can see, I just press the "press here" part, and the lotion just squirt out by itself.
WARNING: Lotion is quite runny!

Texture:

Didn't wanna waste excessive lotion so here's a tiny bit. Might not look it but it's really runny. It's not the creamy type, it's the really runny type. Have you guys ever used Fruit of the Earth's cocoa butter lotion? The texture is exactly the same.

in case you were wondering what I'm talking about, the Fruit of the Earth's packaging looks like this:

Scent:

To be honest, the best smelling cocoa butter lotion would definitely be from Palmer & cococare which I did a review on here. Can't decide. This one, on the other hand, not so cocoa butter-ish. More like coconut oil with a hint of cocoa butter smell.

My Experience:

I tried this as a hand lotion, it doesn't feel moisturising enough as a hand lotion actually. I mean, no sticky feeling which is good but your hands will feel dry very soon after and I'm not even talking about hours later.
As a body lotion though, this is quite good. Nuff said.

Pros:

Cheap
Not sticky
BIG size (probably lasts really long)

Cons:

not moisturising enough as a hand lotion
not cocoa butter-ish enough scent

Will I repurchase?:

Yes, why not? With that price & that size, I would continue to purchase it as a body lotion.

Conclusion:

Very cheap and super generous with the amount. Great to use as a body lotion. Definitely pleasant smelling for those who don't fancy strong smelling products.

You can find this product here. Saved you the trouble from scrolling up to see where to buy this.

Note: If you are new to iHerb, do use the code KDB598 for USD10 off your first purchase. I can't stress enough that this code can only be used once & only during your first purchase. So, use it wisely.

Review: Cococare 100% Cocoa Butter

Greetings~!

Here's another product review. Hope you guys aren't bored of me.
As usual, here's a lil info before we go into the details.

Product Info:

Brand: Cococare
Name: 100% Cocoa Butter
Size: 28g
Price: $1.79
Where to buy: iHerb  <===== ( this link will take you directly to the product)

Additional Info (taken from iHerb):

Description
Nature's perfect moisturizer. Ideal for dry skin and stretch marks.
Other Ingredients
Cocoa butter (theobroma cacao).
Warnings
For external use only.

Packaging:

Scent:

The best smelling moisturiser EVER~!
It smells so chocolatey, you'll feel like eating it.

Texture:

I'm not sure if it's just me but it felt really really hard. Too hard that it makes application a tad tough. I would've love it so much more if it glides easily.

My Experience:

I have trouble pushing the product out most of the time. It would've been easier if it was screw type? Like a lipbalm? But it is made in such a way that you have to push it up & down all the time. I actually really hate this product due to the fact that I can't get it out 7 out of 10 times. It is that difficult.

Pros:

Awesome smell~~ ( It's like you are in chocolate heaven)
Cheap
Convenient ( In the sense that it's small so you can bring it everywhere)
Lasts long

Cons:

Not moisturising enough
Hard to push product out sometimes ( not sometimes, most of the times.)

Will I repurchase?:

I don't think so. No matter how good it is & list of pros top the cons but the fact that it is so difficult to get it out just frustrates me to no end. So, this is really not my thing.

Conclusion:

If you are looking for a handy dandy chocolate smelling stick to moisturise when you are out and about, then I guess this is for you. And the fact that you know a lil tip or two to pop the product out easily, then I guess you will love this? Otherwise, yet another cocoa butter stick.

This product may not be to my liking doesn't mean it's not to yours. If you want to buy this, here's the link. Click here.

Note: if you are a new shopper at iHerb, do use this code KDB598 to get USD10 off your first purchase. Use the code wisely as you may only use it once & only during your first purchase.

配送费优惠:-¥ 0.84
总计:¥ 36.04

You see what they did? I placed one order but they separate it into 2 as above, Therefore, I got 2 parcels instead of one as well.

Pictures:

Sorry that the quality of these pictures are so beyond lousy. My camera was nowhere near me at that moment & well, I was anxious to open up the parcels & try out that awesome hot chocolate.

First parcel was smaller. It looks like this once opened:
Funny way of packaging. First time receiving this king of packaging instead of being bubble wrapped. Very secured though.

Inside the first parcel was this:

It comes in a packet of 2. Best smelling moth balls, Make clothes smell fresh & nice. Couldn't find this in the department stalls in my area. So, I was ecstatic to find this in Amazon.

The second parcel is way bigger since it contained all the other products. Looks like this once opened:

Same packaging. Actually, they both came in sturdy boxes.

First this:
I couldn't find this anywhere. Seriously, was searching everywhere for this Lipton's green tea. Thank god they have it in Amazon.

This product is a dehumidifier which is under the same brand as the moth balls I mentioned & showed above. Scroll up to see it. :)

The main star of this order:
Hot chocolate is super hard to find in China, let alone imported hot chocolate. Tried this brand since I've never tried it before, Best decision ever! This hot chocolate tastes so so so good! Plus, it's quite cheap given the amount.

Have I ever mentioned that milk in China is the same price, be it imported or local? So, why not go for imported milk? Got this brand to try out:
The wrapping was so secured. Plus, they sell it cheaper on Amazon than any other supermarkets. My suggestion is to buy milk from Amazon. If you drink ALOT, and I mean ALOT, then by all means go for the box of 12 or 10.

Bought this to clean my bottle:
I needed this & again, I've been searching for this kind of brush in the supermarkets in my area to no avail. So, yup. :P

What I Like:

Sturdy box
Safe & secured packaging
Items are exactly what you see online
Expiry dates aren't near
Whole process was emailed
Able to track every single process
SUPER FAST DELIVERY
Cash On Delivery (my favourite!)

Disappointments:

This time, none.

Will I Shop There Again?:

Most definitely!

note: do look forward to my next post on how to shop on Amazon China & choose COD.

Food: Green Tea Restaurant Beijing (绿茶)

Greetings~!

I'm back with yet another food post after so very long. Do pardon me since I'm not much of an outdoor person so I rarely ever go out. But since it's winter break now and my sis was free, she brought me out to this restaurant which I absolutely love! This is my second time there & I didn't take any pictures the first time, so I thought I'll definitely take some pics this time.

Sorry I didn't take any pics of the surroundings and such, was too hungry by the time it got to our turn. Just so you know, waiting for your turn in Beijing can kill you. So a reminder, NEVER go out to eat when you are starving. Just a lil warning so you won't get any intestinal problems whatsoever.

We arrived at 6 and got our number. waited for 1 hours 30 minutes before it was our turn. We were shown to our seats which was so so so so so far from the entrance. Judging by the entrance, I could never have imagined the restaurant was that big, let alone fit that many tables & chairs. Boy was I wrong. It seemed like a never-ending tour as we were guided to out seats.

Enough of my story. XP

Let's get into the food now shall we?

We ordered:

A MUST HAVE! Cheese dumplings. Filled with meat. Absolutely no veggies. Can be found in the appetizer section. RMB15 if I'm not mistaken?

Milk tea also known as 奶茶 which costs RMB12. I highly suggest you buy your own drinks next time. The cost is probably for the fancy way of serving it.
Tip: Same price can get you 3 bottles of milk tea which I absolutely love.

Potato dish which both my sis & I love. simple, yet delicious.

Cheese scallop. RMB6 for 1. Had to try this. They were generous with the cheese. It was good :D

Pork & stir fried veggies with wraps. This was a disappointment in the sense that the pork is very very little. It was only that sauce part....The black sauce you see at the bottom right corner? Yea, that. Other than the quantity of the pork, the stir fried veggies were ok, very oily though. So, wrap all that in the wrap provided and it's ok

Just to show you the quantity of the pork. And no, it's not filled with pork, Only a few strips.

Total came up to RMB70+
I don't really remember but yea.75/76. Around that price.

Location:
Name of restaurant: 绿茶
Sanyuanqiao
三元桥
5 Shuguangxili Lu (northeast of Sanyuanqiao Bridge right outside Sanyuanqiao subway stop Exit B)
Chaoyang District

Haul: Amazon China (February)

Greetings~!

Story of how I started shopping there:

I'm sure it's not a surprise that I love mangas. Ok, maybe not so much anymore compared to last time. But there's this one manga/manhwa/manhua which took so so so so long to be translated and updated. I heard they even dropped it? So, I really love the story and searched all over the net for the translation of the novel. I read that it was initially a novel which then got adapted into a manga. I just love the story so much that I started reading the translation of the novel. Got so totally hooked. And if you know me, I don't read any novels or whatnot online. I prefer the real book. So, for me to actually read something online, that means I really really love the story. I have to thank the translators for doing such a great job but I'm impatient and really want to know what happens next. So, I decided to buy the chinese version even though my chinese is seriously not up to par to actually read a novel. But i thought by doing so, I'll not only read it, I get to improve my chinese as well. So, why not? And if you know, I do not own an Alipay so Taobao is always out of the question considering most of the things there needed Alipay. I wanted Cash on Delivery. Then, my sis told me about Amazon. I was like, huh really? So, I browsed Amazon China. BEST DECISION EVER! I found the novel and they had Cash On Delivery option. :D

I immediately bought the novel. Now, I'm reading it at a very very very slow pace. I didn't know so many words. But glad that my chinese vocabulary has improve.

Enough bout how I discovered it.

Process:

Ordered: 11/2
Paid: 12/2   ( paid upon arrival)
Received: 12/2

So, I ordered around 8pm, and received my parcel at around 2pm the following day. You can choose either a weekday or weekend. I'll do a post on how to order from Amazon China in another post. Stay tune for that! :)

What I ordered:

孤芳不自赏(帝后征途携手生死的大爱讴歌)
风弄; 平装
由 亚马逊进行销售
¥ 31.20
订单总价:¥ 31.20
配送费:¥ 5.00
订单小计:¥ 36.20

Pictures:

The parcel came like this, a really thin plastic.

Once taken out from the plastic, you get the book! :D

Back part of the book!

What I like:

The whole process was relatively easy, nothing complicated despite my inability in browsing chinese sites
They send you emails regarding the status of the whole process
You can track the parcel right away
Delivery is so freaking FAST!
Cash on Delivery! ( I wish all sites in China offer this)

Disappointments:

I do wish they at least tell us what time we'll get the parcel. at least say morning or afternoon.

Will I shop there again?

Most definitely! Actually, I placed another order a day after I received this. So, stay tune for that post! :P   I've blogged about it. You can check out my post on my second haul here.

Review: y.e.t sweet punch moisture tint set

Greetings~!

I've been using this almost every single day, so I thought I should do a review on this.

Info:

Brand: y.e.t
Product name: sweet punch moisture tint set
Size: 10g * 3
Price: USD9.05

Ingredients:

Glycerin, Aloe vera leaf liquid

Product Description:

  • When applied, it won't smudge & dry. Lips stay moisturised & smooth
  • Colours naturally & creates natural lip colour
  • Colour tone is adjustable according to number of application
  • Peach fragrance

Packaging:

Interesting packaging. y.e.t always have similar art on their products actually

Back part which is all in Hangul.

When you open the lid, this is what you get

Information on the lid. A lil info on how you should apply the tint.

3 tints placed nicely

The orange punch

The peach punch

The cherry punch

The applicator

Swatch:

Sorry for the blur picture. The applicator for the orange punch.

How it looks like on the skin

Peach punch applicator

How the peach punch looks like on skin

The cherry punch applicator

How the cherry punch looks like

The swatch above is what you can obtain if you rub off the tint. This is just to show you how it works as a blusher for your cheeks if you want.

Here's how the product is supposed to look like when applied on lips

Scent:

They smell like their respected scents. Orange, peach & cherry.

My Experience:

I don't know why but when I apply the peach punch, it gives a stinging feeling. Only the peach punch, this does not apply to the orange & cherry punch. I love the orange punch the most in terms on how well it looks on my lips. Peach punch gives a sweet & very light pink. Cherry punch gives a darker pink, pink towards red side.

Pros:

More moisturising compared to other tints
Lovely scents
Great colour
Affordable

Cons:

Doesn't actually last long (I though tints were meant to last long)
Drying (apparently all tints are drying)

Conclusion:

I actually really love how natural the colours look on my lips.

Will I repurchase?:

Yes, I'll be looking forward to more promotions on Koreadepart. They have y.e.t sale pretty much every month.
