Skin79 Super+ Beblesh Balm (Pink Label) opened!

Greetings!

As stated in the title, I opened up the bb cream!

Why?

Well, it won't come out no matter how much I pumped. That's the reason why I got the gold label one anyways.

So, no harm in opening it.

Below are pics of how it looks like:

how it looks like without its body
Look! I separated the white part from the pink body. That's the first step to open it.

Top part with nozzle
And this is what you get after you twist open the top part.

the real depth of the bb cream
This, is the real 40g as claimed despite its ginormous bottle size.

closer look
Can you see the depth? No? Look below!

a better closer view
A clearer pic as to how the real depth looks like. Not very deep huh? But it is 40g. But then again, it looks less than 40g with the top part covering most of it. Don't believe? Look at the pic below.

Look! This is the top part with the nozzle and its pump is really long. Imagine this long thing filling in the space of the already shallow depth of the bottle. Now, do you think this is 40g? Maybe it is. But, one thing for sure. If you do not want to waste any drop of this precious bb cream, open it up when you feel like throwing it away.

Who knows? You might be surprised that there are actually alot more bb cream left in the bottle.

Hope this helps! If it doesn't and you need help in anything, leave a comment here or email me at joubajoubawa@yahoo.com

I'm always free and happy to help!

Why?

I'm not doing anything right now.

Lashes by kiwiberry1 arrived!

Remember that I won a giveaway by Kiwiberry1 hosted by Isabel? No? You may read it here.

Well, I finally got one of the items, which is the  1 box lashes (chosen by kiwiberry1 staff).

parcel
Checked the price  of shipping. It was $10 for 0.1 kg. Oooooooooo. Expensive! I didn't take a pic of the inside of the parcel but surprisingly, the interior is filled with bubble wraps.

box bubble wrapped
Even though the interior of the parcel already has bubble wraps, they bubble wrapped the box anyways. Impressive!

info about reviewing
According to kiwiberry1, if you submit a review, you will be entitled to a 15% discount on your next purchase.

box of lashes
Here's how the box looks like. I'm actually surprised everything is written in chinese when kiwiberry1 is from Canada, I think.

lash
How the individual lash looks like. Looks natural right?

lashes!
After removing the box cover, this is what you will find.

If you were wondering which lashes they send me, no need to wonder anymore.
At the bottom of the box, there was a number 7. So, i;m guessing it's no.7.
It's under dramatic glamorous lashes.
For more info, click here

Real price: $7.00.

Thanks so much Kiwiberry1 & Isabel! Really appreciate this! Am still waiting for the contacts! Can't wait!

Where to get cheap & authentic skin79 bb cream?

Greetings!

As stated in the title, I will be sharing with you where I get my Skin79 bb cream which is authentic and cheap.

As you know, it's not really that easy to find stuff in Malaysia.

Retail price for Skin79 Super+ BB cream Pink Label/ Vip Gold in Malaysia is roughly RM90. Even when they claim they are having a promotion, it will still be RM90 for 2. which then comes up to RM45 per bottle. That is quite ok if and only if you plan on purchasing 2 bottles. If you plan to buy only one, then it is not worth it.

So, back to the main topic.

WHERE DID I GET MINE?

I got mine from sales.bellezababe@gmail.com

Yes, you just email and purchase.

So, I got mine for RM39 including delivery right to my doorstep using PosLaju which is a speedy delivery system in Malaysia.

For more info on other brands of bb creams sold by this seller,
LYN Forum:
http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1636714&hl=
Facebook:
http://www.facebook.com/bellezababe.skin.care?fref=ts

Just for your info, they do sell other things as well. So, go and have a look. Best part, they're all authentic.

p.s. I just purchased a skin79 VIP gold bb cream two days ago, they'll be sending it out today which means I'll get it tomorrow. Will post about it when i get it.

note: as of february 2013, they've hike up their price till RM45 per bottle which is just not worth it anymore. I've found a cheaper and authentic alternative. Will blog about that soon! do email me if you can't wait for my next post! I bought 2 bottles for the price of RM75!

UPDATE: I shall now reveal to you the cheaper yet authentic alternative! Head over to http://list.qoo10.my/item/SKIN79-SKIN79-1-1-GENUINE-AUTHENTIC-BB/408350459
Yup! It's Gmarket Korea. The products are all shipped to you directly from Korea. It might take time but so worth it! Why? Because they give you really really late expiry dates. The ones I just received have expiry dates of 2015! The one that I bought from Malaysia has an expiry date of the year you purchase. Look at the difference! Plus, you get free gifts! If you buy from Malaysia, absolutely no free gifts! One downside is that since it is shipped directly from Korea, give some time for delivery. I ordered and paid on the 22nd Feb, they processed and shipped it on the day itself. Received it on the 5th of March. So, if you are expecting to get it the next day, don't!

the small parcel! Everything was packed and wrapped neatly & so secured!

The items in the box. Lots of bubble wraps!

The bb creams!

So, that is all for now!

Analyzing Price for soap making essentials

WARNING: Don't read this post! It's just a rant post!

I've been doing my own lil research on soap making.

It's hard since most materials and all can easily be found in America but not in Malaysia.

Luckily, with the help of google, I managed to find 2 shops or is the proper term, online blogshops? Anyways, these 2 shops offer extremely reasonable price. But boy, was it hard to just find these shops. I've been google-ing recipes for soaps and also shea butter. why? Because the recipe i found for the soap requires shea butter but only 2 teaspoons. And I'm suppose to buy a minimum of 500g of shea butter just for the sake of 2 teaspoons? So, now I'm actually going through the price for these shops by individually listing out the size, material, price and so on. Imagine when a recipe requires lemongrass essential oil, I have to then google up other uses of the oil.

Soap making isn't tough but the process of comparing prices, knowing the uses of the essential oils, other uses of all the other ingredients, knowing the recipes, THAT is tough!

This post is just to rant out my frustrations, ok, wait, that's not even the right word. Should I say tiredness? or stress? Ok, this ranting has got to stop!

p.s. You may totally skip this post!

Whoopie Pies!

Brief Introduction on Whoopie Pie: ( copy and pasted from wikipedia)

The whoopie pie (alternatively called a black moongobblack-and-whitebob, or "BFO" for Big Fat Oreo) is an American baked good that may be considered either a cookiepie, or cake. It is made of two round mound-shaped pieces of chocolate cake, or sometimes pumpkin or gingerbread cake, with a sweet, creamy filling or frosting sandwiched between them

History of Whoopie Pie: ( copy and pasted from wikipedia)
While considered a New England phenomenon and a Pennsylvania Amish tradition, they are increasingly sold throughout the United States.[1] According to food historians, Amish women would bake these desserts (known as hucklebucks, or creamy turtles at the time) and put them in farmers' lunch pails or lunch boxes. When farmers would find the treats in their lunch, they would shout "Whoopie!"[1] It is thought that the original Whoopie pies may have been made from cake batter leftovers.[3]
The whoopie pie is the official state treat of Maine[4] (not to be confused with the official state dessert, which is blueberry pie).[4]
The world's largest whoopie pie was created in South Portland, Maine on March 26, 2011, weighing in at 1,062 pounds.[5] Pieces of the giant whoopie pie were sold and the money was used to send Maine-made whoopie pies to soldiers serving overseas.[5] The previous record holder, from Pennsylvania, weighed 200 pounds.[5]

Why the sudden topic?

Well,

I got the latest issue of Cake Decorating! Which is issue 4! At the end of the issue, they have this recipe which caught my interest. And yes! It's whoopie pie! With the rainbow colour and cute looking, almost similar to macaron, it definitely caught my attention.

I immediately took out 2 sticks of butter, in the end I only used one. Blek.

Anyways,

Outcome was better than expected. Well, not that nice since I only have blue, red and green. So, I only made 4 colours. Red, blue, green and purple. Why didn't I buy yellow?

Taste? Well, it was nice. But maybe I made the cake part too thick? It would be nicer with thinner cakes. Cream? Guess what? The recipe suggested 2 4/5 cups of sugar but I used 2 cups only and it was already sweet! And if you don't know me, I'll tell u a lil something bout me...

Hehehhe....a lil info bout me: I absolutely adore SWEET stuff. Anything sweet, I like! So, if I ever say something is too sweet, u have gotta believe me!

Will I make this again? Maybe. High chance if I buy yellow colouring!

I'm so lazy to on my computer just to post up a mere pic of my whoopie pies that I'll just publish this post now...

Stay tune as I edit this post soon with one pic of the outcome. Might include a pic of how it's suppose to turn out

As promised, here's a pic:

my 1st attempt in making whoopie pies!

Btw, I know that it doesn't look that appetising but I like it! My bro & sis love them as well!

Here's how it's suppose to look like:

pic credit to sweetesbakeshop.com

So, there you have it. The HUGE difference in outcome. LOL!
