Review: Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Oil

Greetings~!

Product review of the day is the Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Oil.
I'm sure you've all heard of this incredibly famous brand.

Product Info:

Name: Tea Tree Oil
Brand:

Size: 25ml
Other sizes available: 10ml
Where to buy: Available in all independent pharmacies & chain pharmacies(Guardian, Caring, Watson)
Price: RM30.80 for 10ml
          RM46.80 for 25ml

Packaging:

My box was kind of damaged so I took this picture from Thurday Plantation Malaysia's facebook page.

This is how the bottle looks like when you take it out of the box:

And the bottle's back view:

Texture:

Like any other essential oil.

Smell:

Tea tree scent.

My Experience:

I actually use this together with my moisturiser every single day. This method really helps because I've not been getting any breakouts so far. And mind you that I have acne prone skin.

For before & after pictures, do read my other review on the blemish gel here.

There's no before & after for this review because I use this as an acne prevention product rather than a cure since I'm using the blemish gel as the cure instead.

You may use this as the cure instead. But hey, different people, different preference right?

Tip:

Use any moisturiser of your choice and add 1-2 drops of this tea tree oil. This helps to keep away those nasty acne & pimples.

Sprinkling Gel Cream

Conclusion:

I am so used to adding this to my moisturiser that I feel so weird when I don't. I use this every single day with my moisturiser. It's good to prevent.

Prevention is better than cure!

Will I purchase?:

Absolutely! This is one thing i can't live without.

Note: This product was given to me for review purpose but this does not affect my review in any way.

Kurazen, Beijing

Greetings~!

I'll be doing a review on Kurazen, Beijing.

Now I know I actually suck in food reviews but please bear with me. :)

I really love the food here which is why I'm doing a review on this.

I don't usually do food reviews but the food is so good I just have to share it with you guys.

One of the things I love about this place is each table gets their own private little space, if you get what I mean. Each table is separated into sections? Now, I know I'm not good in explaining. I did take a few pictures. So, hope you understand!

Here's how each table is separated:

What you get in your "section" is 6 hangers to hang your winter clothing, jacket.
3 on each side, like below:

Each "section" has like different paintings and a small lil notice board with menu highlights, I think.
Order by pressing the gadget such as below:
Each gadget comes with buttons such as "order", "cheque", "water" & "cancel"
Tissues
Soy sauce
Toothpicks
Wasabi

Each "section" comes with a powerplug & there are like 6 cushions, 3 on each side:

Just another picture to show you the view again:

Ah and I almost forgot, each person gets a cup of tea & warm towel:

I ordered the Pork Broth under the noodle set section:

do note that the bean sprouts were actually in the bowl but I forgot to take a picture and realised it while I was picking all the bean sprouts out.
So, the price is RMB38.
I think the price is really really reasonable considering the service, taste and amount of food given.
My set came with onigiri(rice ball), chawanmushi, seaweed & the noodle.

Taste: The chawanmushi was so good! I fell in love with it. The broth of the soup was super good! It was flavourful, very flavourful, something rare in Beijing. It came with 2 slices of pork. The pork was really good. I usually don't eat the fats of the pork but this one, I ate just because it was good, the fats literally melts in your mouth. There was also menma(bamboo shoot) but I didn't eat those. The hard boiled egg was the best hard boiled egg I've ever eaten! I never actually love hard boiled egg but OMG! The egg itself had a hint of sweetness & saltiness at the same time. It was just so good that my words don't do it justice. Even though everything was so good, the portion itself was so much that I couldn't finish everything. I finished the noodles and the pork & egg. I only ate half of the delicious chawanmushi. I wanted to eat more but I was just too full. So, that said, I didn't even eat the onigiri, simply because I really couldn't eat anymore.

NO TAX OR SERVICE CHARGE!!! :)

Btw, did I mention that service was super good?

There wasn't anything that I didn't like.

Menu had english so don't worry if you can't read chinese or japanese.

Review: Kuumba Made Scar Repair

Greetings~!

This is a super long overdue post which I found in the draft part with only pictures and no content. So, here I am, writing or should I say typing this.

Review of the day is the Kuumba Made Scar Repair.
Scar Repair

Product Info:

Brand:
Logo
Size: 1 oz. / 28.3g
Price: $8.00

Additional Info

(taken from http://www.kuumbamade.com/store/index.php?p=product&id=7):

Packaging:

If you notice, the picture above is different from the product I got. Reason is that mine is the old version and they came up with a new packaging but I can't say for sure if the content is upgraded or not? Do let me know if any of you have tried the new one.

Top part of the bottle looks like this:

Front part of the bottle:

Back part:
As you can see, the ingredients all listed.

 Side part of the bottle:
Product description & how to use

The cap is the screw on type:
It comes with a lid for cleanliness.

Once you remove the safety lid:
As you can see, it is a salve.

The bottom part of the bottle:
expiry date can be found plus all other additional info.

Texture:

From the picture in the packaging section, you can see that it is a salve.

Scent:

The scent is really strong. Although, I can't seem to describe the smell. It's just like a combination of lots of essential oil.

My experience:

Initially, I bought this to treat my acne scars. Unfortunately, everytime I apply this on my acne scars, I will have a breakout on that particular area. Tried this a few times, actually long enough for me to actually know that this was what caused my breakout. Left this aside for pretty long till I got a scar from being bitten by my dog. The scar was pretty bad although I'm so sorry I didn't take a picture of it. I thought I was going to have that scar forever (ok, i meant for a very long time). Fortunately, I remembered this salve. Used it twice a day. My scar was gone in 4-5 days. As in the scar completely vanished.

Conclusion:

Didn't work for acne scars but it works wonders for body scars. And since it's a salve and not a cream, it lasts really really long. I guess that's a good thing about salves and balms as compared to cream.

Would I repurchase?

Yes, why not? But since it lasts for so long, I don't think it's going to finish anytime soon.

This haul is from none other than the famous Koreadepart:
Koreadepart .Inc

This is basically one of the best places to shop for Korean products.

Since this is not a post about introduction to this site or whatever so I will just mainly blog about my haul rather than about the site.

Without wasting anymore time, here's a summary of the order process:

Ordered: 15/12
