I'm back with a review that was in the draft section which explains why I can even upload any pics.

I'm reviewing this product which has been mentioned on WishtrendTv countless of times. 

By the way, in case you never heard of WishtrendTv, it's a youtube channel which was created by Wishtrend and focusses on Korean beauty trend and such.

Texture:

If I were to describe the texture, it would be film-like gel. Film like is pretty much the aftereffect. Colourless when applied like all gels.  

Scent:

Hard to describe. It doesn't smell nice. Let's just say it smells like acid. 

Experience:

Day 1: Stinging felt on areas with pimples

Day 2: Stinging reduced but still there

Day 3: no more stinging

Day 4~7: same as Day 3, nothing.

Sorry for no before and after pics because seriously, I didn't see any effect whatsoever. 

Pros:

Skin felt smooth the very next day

Cons:

Pricey

Small size

Does absolutely nothing
Doesn't do what it claims

Conclusion:

This is one of those products which is over-exaggerated. I can't speak for everyone but I'll speak for myself. This is SO PRICEY for something that does nothing. Save your money folks!

Will I repurchase?:

Hell no!

Hello November!

Has it been 2 months since my last post?

I've just been so busy that I've not been updating on any of my blogs.

Busy in the sense that i don't even have time to study. 

My time management sucks so bad.

I figure I might just use this as like an online journal just to update you people on my life? :)

So, I applied for the international student union in my uni and got accepted as a journalist. Completely different from what I was a year ago. I was in the web design department, which I don't think I did anything aside from posting a few posts on the website? So, this year, I applied for the journalist post just to contribute a lil more to the union. I wrote the first article on a Halloween event that the union organised. I'm happy I got to contribute but I didn't write the article from my point of view, which was weird... 

I think this semester pass pretty quick, considering midterms are around the corner and I'm so totally not prepared. Every semester, I vow to start studying from the beginning but I fail to do so every single time. I'm not the only one right? Hope not. 

And I ordered from Koreadepart once again, so, expect a haul post anytime soon. Ok, I take that back. Not soon since I'll be studying for my midterms instead of taking good pictures of the haul and reviewing the products. The haul this time consists of mostly cleansers? 

Update on my healthy lifestyle. Yes! I've started eating vegetables. And I've been religiously following Cassey's workout calendar. I started with the Beginner's Workout Calendar, then I moved on to the monthly calendar. The exercises are so good. I can definitely see changes and feel healthy. The workout is called BLOGILATES. So good! And I'll continue to exercise according to the calendar. Also, for meal prep, I follow Cassey's meal plan and also Joanna Soh's meal plan. Absolutely free and well, I follow both just to have a variation of meals. You will get so so so sick of eating the same thing pretty much all the time. Back in Beijing & Update on my life!

Sorry for my lack of posts! I'm back in Beijing and have begun Year 2 Semester 1 of my bachelor degree which is getting tougher each sem.  Once again, I'm sorry for this no pic post. I have no idea how to put pictures when I'm using this VPN. If someone out there knows how, do tell me. Looks like I have to use my other blog( joubajoubawa.tumblr.com) for my review posts for now.

So, as I said, this sem is tougher not just because of the subjects but because I moved to a faraway place. It takes approximately 1 hour 30 minutes just to get to my uni from my place. To be exact, 15 minutes from my apartment to the subway station, give or take 1 hour spent in the subway, transferring from one stop to another, & of course 15 minutes from the subway station to class. And mind you that I have 8am classes 2 out of 5 days in a week. So for the 8am classes, I wake up at 5am. Bath, eat breakfast and all. Then, leave at 6am. Reach class at 7.30am. As for my 10am classes, I wake up at 6.30am. Bath, eat breakfast, check emails, watch dramas. Leave home at 8am. Reach class at 9.30am. So, this is basically my life for the past 2 weeks. Pretty much getting used to it. It was torture for the first week. If you know me, I'm not an early riser & I HATE outdoors which means, I really don't like walking. Well, if you ever come to China, that's pretty much what you'll do everyday. WALK! 

Besides that, I started meal prepping because I don't have time to actually prepare the meals every single time. I've also started eating clean! Quite proud of myself in this aspect as I've never eaten clean before. I'm only starting this eating clean thing to clear my acne. Most important thing is I want to achieve that healthy glowing skin. I've also started exercising which I've never actually done. 

So sorry if this update is a lil long or boring but I just thought I want to share with you guys what's going on in my life. So, if you guys want me to do any reviews, just email me. I will be doing some reviews this week since it's a public holiday here in China. I'll be reviewing products on my other blog. Do check it out from time to time. :)

How I cleared my ACNE!

Those of you who have been a reader of this blog for a long time would probably know that I have a bad case of acne & acne scars. Some products work & most don't. I've been hunting for the RIGHT products for a very long time.

For the time being, I've been religiously doing this routine which is surprisingly easy & it totally works! In the long run, I don't know whether it'll work anymore but so far so good. 

Without any further delay, here's what I did.

1. Cleansing

I didn't use any brush or any special cleansing device. Just plain old cleansing foam which works wonders!

Used/Using this twice a day, morning & night, one pump is sufficient.

2. Toner

What I did was mix one part of this ACV with 2 parts water. Everytime I used this toner, I would shake it first, dip the cotton pad in the mixture and wipe it all over my face.

Did this every morning & night as well, right after cleansing.

And that's all! 

I'm sure nobody will be convinced with just these steps right?
