Review: (I'm from) Vitamin Tree Water-Gel

Greetings~!

Have you read my last post on the Wishtrendtv deal? That post was a brief, really really brief intro to this product. It was how I discovered this product. Read all about it here.

A lil pic to start this post:

Product Info:

Brand: I'm from
Product: Moisturiser
Size: 75g
Price: USD28 (shipping not included)
Where to buy: Wishtrend    (any promotions related to this product will be listed down below)

Additional Info: (all pictures and information in this section was taken from wishtrend.com)

Packaging:

The front part of the box:

Side part of the box:

Back part of the box:

Other side of the box:

Top part of the box:

Bottom part of the box:

Once lid is lifted:

See that little spatula? :

Take the bottle out and compare it with the box:

Size of spatula in comparison with bottle:

Front part of bottle:

Side part of bottle:

Other side:

Note that it is a twist kind of cover:

Texture:

Basically, colourless. And true to its name, it is watery. If you ever use Laneige's Water sleeping pack, this gel is exactly like that.

Scent:

Smells fresh, very faint fruity smell. Claims to be fragrance free, so I'm guessing it's the natural smell of vitamin?

My Experience:

Used this every night as a moisturiser. Lasted pretty long. Started using on 11/4, finished on 7/7. About 3 months worth if you use this only at night. I would say it lasts really long since I have a big face actually. And a little goes a long way for this gel since only very small amount is needed to cover the whole face. I absolutely love the watery texture and how easily it glides on my skin. It gives plenty of moisture, I survived winter with this! And mind you that I have dry skin type. This didn't break me out at all. I would say that this gel has lighten my acne scars though I don't know for sure if it's this gel or all the combination of products I used.

Pros:

Lightweight (very light and you won't feel like it's clogging your pores or anything)
Not sticky after applied (I hate how some/most moisturisers tend to make your skin feel slightly sticky)
Big size ( lasted 3 months)
does what it claims

Cons:

Expensive (not high end kind of expensive, but out of my budget)
Only available on Wishtrend

Conclusion:

If you are looking for the lightweight type of moisturiser which doesn't feel sticky after applied, then this is the right moisturiser for you. Especially if you are aiming for whitening, more to evening out your skintone due to acne scarring. For people with sensitive skin prone to acne breakouts, this gel is definitely for you.

Will I repurchase?

Yes (though I am wishing for better deals as the Wish, try, love deal is already over.)

Haul: Wishtrend TV Deal (At Home Acne Scar Treatment)

Greetings~!

I'm finally back home which can only mean more blog posts! :)

After watching the wishtrend tv video about how to get rid of acne scars, I immediately purchased the deal. You can watch that video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tySk4Yf7VE8

Personally, I watch all videos by wishtrend tv but was particularly attracted to this deal since I have acne scars and that has always been my major skin concern. In case you guys don't know about wishtrend tv, do check them out. They have all sorts of videos from skincare, makeup, explore and food. They keep on adding more genres as time goes on.

Best segment has got to be the Wish, Try, Love. You guys have to keep your eyes out for these wishtrend tv deals because the deals are just so so so awesome. You wouldn't want to purchase those products at normal price. These deals don't come by often and only lasts for a few days.

Have you guys read my review on the OST Vitamin C Serum? This deal is actually featured on that post. Read all about it here if you haven't.

It's currently sold out but if you wanted to see how the deal looks like and what each product is worth, click here.

Review: Cococare 100% Cocoa Butter

Greetings~!

Here's another product review. Hope you guys aren't bored of me.
As usual, here's a lil info before we go into the details.

Product Info:

Brand: Cococare
Name: 100% Cocoa Butter
Size: 28g
Price: $1.79
Where to buy: iHerb  <===== ( this link will take you directly to the product)

Additional Info (taken from iHerb):

Description
Nature's perfect moisturizer. Ideal for dry skin and stretch marks.
Other Ingredients
Cocoa butter (theobroma cacao).
Warnings
For external use only.

Packaging:

Scent:

The best smelling moisturiser EVER~!
It smells so chocolatey, you'll feel like eating it.

Texture:

I'm not sure if it's just me but it felt really really hard. Too hard that it makes application a tad tough. I would've love it so much more if it glides easily.

My Experience:

I have trouble pushing the product out most of the time. It would've been easier if it was screw type? Like a lipbalm? But it is made in such a way that you have to push it up & down all the time. I actually really hate this product due to the fact that I can't get it out 7 out of 10 times. It is that difficult.

Pros:

Awesome smell~~ ( It's like you are in chocolate heaven)
Cheap
Convenient ( In the sense that it's small so you can bring it everywhere)
Lasts long

Cons:

Not moisturising enough
Hard to push product out sometimes ( not sometimes, most of the times.)

Will I repurchase?:

I don't think so. No matter how good it is & list of pros top the cons but the fact that it is so difficult to get it out just frustrates me to no end. So, this is really not my thing.

Conclusion:

If you are looking for a handy dandy chocolate smelling stick to moisturise when you are out and about, then I guess this is for you. And the fact that you know a lil tip or two to pop the product out easily, then I guess you will love this? Otherwise, yet another cocoa butter stick.

This product may not be to my liking doesn't mean it's not to yours. If you want to buy this, here's the link. Click here.

Note: if you are a new shopper at iHerb, do use this code KDB598 to get USD10 off your first purchase. Use the code wisely as you may only use it once & only during your first purchase.

Memebox Superbox #21 Dermocosmetics

Greetings~!

This post will not be that detailed like my review posts.

I got this box together with the luckybox 5 which I wrote all about it here.

I paid USD6.99 for shipping for both boxes. that was back when you only had to pay a one time shipping for each order.

Pictures:

As usual, you will receive the box in a pink bag.

Once you rip the pink bag, you will find a pink box bubble wrapped.

The box without the bubble wrap.

Once you open the box!

Remove the leaflet and this is what you get.

Front view of the leaflet

Back view of the leaflet.

Remove the mask and this is the arrangement of the other products.
As you can see, my shampoo leaked. :(
Already wrote an email to memebox and they've compensated with 6 reward points.

This is what you get.

Products:

1. Dewytree 7 Cut Facial Cream (USD29)
2. Dr. Oracle Real White Gel Cream (USD30)
3. Dr. Oracle Shiny Water Pack (USD25)
4. Kangskin Beauty Multiblock Cream (USD42)
5. Kangskin Beauty Scalp Treatment Shampoo (USD18)
6. Kangskin Beauty Aqua Soothing Mask (USD10)

Price:

USD29

What I Like:

I really like this box despite the leakage.
Fast delivery
Cute box
All full size products
Get to try out all these brands that I've never heard of before

What I didn't like:

Leakage but they have compensated me
The thing I really don't like about memebox is that if we try a product and really love it, you actually can't purchase it from anywhere coz apparently they don't sell it anywhere else. This is the main reason why I couldn't do a price comparison since I really couldn't find the products anywhere else.

Would you guys like me to review any of the products?

Do leave a comment below or email me at joubajoubawa@yahoo.com

Memebox: Luckybox 5

Greetings~!

I finally got myself my first ever Beauty Box!

Memebox Global

I decided to get this Luckybox because of the spoilers. I really wanted to try out the tea tree essence.
Memebox needs no introduction considering its popularity. Just search the tag memebox on instagram and POOF! Lots of pics!

So, I'll skip the introduction and go straight to pictures and maybe a lil price comparison.

Price of box: USD23 (excluding shipping)

Pictures:

Price listed: $3
Price on koreadepart: $10.73 for 5  ( $2.15)

So, basically I tried finding everything on Koreadepart since shipping there is the cheapest for me.
I would say that I'm actually really happy with this box & will do separate reviews on each product, more detailed ones.

Shipping:

Since memebox no longer ships to Malaysia and I was in China, so I gave my China address.
To those of you who stay in China, don't waste the extra money on express shipping since standard shipping takes only a week.
Shipped out: 03/06
Received: 10/06

What I like:

I loved that the box was bubble wrapped & everything was so secured!
I love how memebox gives discounts all the time.
I love how memebox is always so on time in shipping out the products!
Memebox has like the best customer support!
The box is worth its value.

What I didn't like:

I wished shipping to China is cheaper since it's so so so near to Korea
The shipping is expensive.

Where to get this:

http://us.memebox.com/

Since this post is long overdue & there are so many reviews and unboxing posts of this box out there, I tried to keep it as simple as possible. I'll try my very best to review 2 more boxes which I received and do keep your eyes open for more reviews! :D
